Welsh said with the acquisitiobof MicroScribe, the company will grow in Raleign and on the West Coast. But he declinesd to elaborate, saying that negotiationsa are stillunder way.
Welsh did say Revwarr is taking steps to reactivate resale channelzfor MicroScribe.
CAD in an acronym for computer-aided Immersion has several business lines with productw developed for applications ranging from gamintg tomedical uses. In May, seasonally adjusted unemployment rateswere 10.7 percentt in D.C., 7.2 percent in Maryland and 7.1 percengt in Virginia. The report, released showed a 0.8 point increasee for D.C. in May from April and was up 0.4 pointxs in Maryland and 0.3 points in Maryland and Virginia arebeloaw May’s national unemployment rate of 9.4 which was up from 8.9 percent in Apriol and 3.9 percentage points higher than a year The report also tracked the rise in unemploymentr from year to year. In May 2008, 21,900 peoplr were out of work in D.C. In May 2009, that numbe jumped to 35,200, representing an increasr of 4.1 percentage points from 6.6 percent to 10.7 Despite D.C.
’s high rate of jobless people, betweem April and May of this year, D.C. reportef a rise in employment by 2,800, with payroll numbers in its governmenrt sector increasingby 900. That data is also seasonally adjusted byBLS economists. Michigan, which lost 23,900 jobs betweej April and May, held the nation’s highest unemployment rate of 14.1 North Dakota and Nebraska both posted the lowesgt unemployment rate in the at 4.4 percent.
