The sale of the properties will allow BlackBrusjh to pay off 100 percent of its existing bank debt and emergd as a stronger andleaner operation, accordinyg to company officials. “We’re confident that by taking this action, we will be better able to providwe improved operating and financial results than we coulx have done under the current BlackBrush CEO Scott Martin BlackBrush retains an interest inover 100,00o0 acres of land in South Texas for development. Martin adds, “In addition, we will be in a great position to redouble our efforts on the midstream side by focusinbg our attention to projects inDimmig County, Frio County and Karnes County.
” But Martin says the big opportunitt for BlackBrush is in the Eagleford. “Twelvr to 15 Eagleford tests in the last few monthzs all came in meeting or exceeding says Martin. “The area is more condensate rich than other shal plays and is more attractive in this oilpricse environment.” While the scoper of its operations will decrease, BlackBrushj and all of its affiliated companies will continues to operate, Martin says.
